Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how ResumeFix ("we," "us," or "our") issues refunds for credit purchases made on https://resumefix.pro (the "Service").
This Policy is part of and should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. General Principle
ResumeFix sells credits that grant access to AI-powered resume enhancement. Because credits are delivered instantly and consumed through usage, refunds are issued only in specific circumstances described below.
2. When Refunds Are Issued
2.1 Technical Failure on Our Side
You are entitled to a refund (or credit restoration, at your option) if:
- A paid enhancement returns an error or fails to produce any output due to a fault on our side (server error, API failure, or bug)
- The Service is unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) and your purchased credits cannot be used during that time
- Credits are deducted from your account but no result is delivered
In these cases, you may request:
- Credit restoration: the consumed credits are returned to your account (preferred and faster), OR
- Monetary refund: the equivalent value is refunded to your original payment method
2.2 Unauthorized or Duplicate Charges
If you were charged in error (duplicate transaction, unauthorized charge, or billing mistake), contact us immediately. We will work with 2Checkout (Verifone), our Merchant of Record, to investigate and refund where appropriate.
3. When Refunds Are NOT Issued
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Dissatisfaction with the AI-generated output. AI output quality is inherently subjective. We do not guarantee that the enhancement will meet your personal expectations, help you secure an interview, or pass any specific Applicant Tracking System.
- Credits already consumed through successful enhancements (where the Service returned a result).
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Unused credits in a working account. Credits do not expire and remain available for future use. We do not refund unused credit balances unless the Service is permanently discontinued.
- User error, such as selecting the wrong mode, submitting incorrect input, or providing an unrelated job description.
- Issues caused by third-party services outside our control (e.g., your internet connection, Anthropic API outages exceeding our refund threshold but already compensated through credit restoration).
4. EU/EEA Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have statutory rights under EU consumer protection law, including the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase.
Important: By using the Service to consume credits before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you explicitly waive your right of withdrawal for those credits, as the digital service has been performed at your request. Unused credits within the 14-day period may still be eligible for refund upon request.
Where applicable consumer protection law provides stronger refund rights than this Policy, those rights apply.
5. How to Request a Refund
Send a refund request to support@resumefix.pro with the following information:
- Email associated with your ResumeFix account
- 2Checkout (Verifone) order reference or order number (found in your payment confirmation email)
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or error messages
6. Refund Processing Time
- We will acknowledge your refund request within 2 business days.
- We will respond with a decision within 5 business days of receiving all required information.
- Approved refunds are processed by 2Checkout (Verifone) and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Refund Method
All refunds are processed through 2Checkout (Verifone), our Merchant of Record, to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to a different card, account, or payment provider.
8. Service Discontinuation
In the unlikely event that we permanently discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice and refund all unused credits to active accounts pro rata, subject to our ability to do so.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Refund requests are evaluated against the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the original purchase.
